The Team: 

In Finance Team we take care of the company’s financial health, supporting strategic direction by providing relevant risk and financial analysis. We are special because we are the first to see all numbers.

The Role: 

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing financial budgets and rolling forecasts, and creating effective structures and processes for departmental cost estimation, evaluation, tracking, and analysis. This role will work closely with accounting, reporting, and strategic finance teams to develop scenario analyses and rolling forecasts, supporting the company's growth and financial stability.

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) by collaborating with various departments, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals and vision metrics
  • Prepare or support business cases for new markets/products/programs 
  • Develop and implement processes and structures to effectively manage and control key cost positions within each department
  • Create effective structure and frameworks for the salary budgeting process and work closely with HR and senior leadership team to ensure an effective salary budgeting process
  • Work closely with accounting and reporting teams to help build reporting infrastructure (for tracking performance vs budget and estimating accurate rolling forecasts). Monitor current metrics and results including unit economics, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations
  • Collaborate with the strategic finance department to prepare scenario analyses based on potential GMV growth trajectories, and create relevant guidelines and rules for key cost positions based on scenarios.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial performance
  • Monitor and track departmental performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments when necessary
  • Continuously improve financial planning and analysis processes to support the company's growth and changing needs
  • Minimum qualifications or ‘what you must have’

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, Proven experience in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive accountability
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-driven, resilient, able to quickly adapt and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Preferred qualifications ‘what we would like you to have’

  • Experience within the tech or e-commerce industry or large companies with complex operations and a high number of employees
  • Experience in scenario analysis and rolling forecasts is highly desirable
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Experience in business intelligence tools like Looker
