The Team

The Finance Operations team, together with Accounting & Reporting and Strategic Finance, is part of the Finance Organization. The team consists of Finance Data, Operations Pricing, and Profitability. We work closely together with product and business teams to enable data-based decision-making and own the company’s pricing & profitability strategy and roadmap.

The Role

You will join the pricing & profitability team and be responsible for product and service profitability analytics and reporting. You will play a key role in identifying and communicating insights and opportunities to drive profitability improvements across the organisation. As part of your day-to-day activities, you will collaborate with operational teams, General Managers, and Product Managers to ensure responsible teams are on top of their profitability metrics and provide timely actions on backlog items.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for profitability improvement
  • Perform deep dives into cost structures by processing large amounts of data
  • Develop financial models to forecast the profitability impact of business strategies and actions
  • Developing profitability and unit economics models together with Finance Data to implement a source of truth for profitability data
  • Evaluate in-market product and service profitability, new strategies, and revenue centers
  • Advising business and product teams on finance data requirements and profitability implications
  • Weekly and monthly profitability reporting to stakeholders and management
  • Reporting standardisation and automation using Looker
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to support profitability objectives
  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis
  • Participation in global projects
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and data gathering
  • 2+ years of professional experience in finance data analysis using data visualization software (Looker, Tableau, etc)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong written & verbal English communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to present and clearly articulate summarised data analysis results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, while managing multiple priorities and tasks
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous profitability analyst experience
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for data modeling and extracting
  • Working experience with analysis and reporting using Looker

  • We value transparency and strive to offer competitive compensation packages based on fair and equitable principles. The remuneration for this role ranges from € 2500 to €3000 gross per month, based on your qualifications, experience, and skills.
