The Team

Printify's Data Platform Team is the core of our company's data infrastructure. The team's main objective is to provide a scalable and compliant way for users to solve their needs around descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics in a self-service way.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Data Engineer/Software Engineer with a strong focus on standardization and automation. This role entails close and efficient collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, and your data teammates.

As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain optimal (and scalable) data pipelines and ELT layers.
  • Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and the business processes that depend on it.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision-making.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • Manage infrastructure of data services via Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain various data applications related to data import, profiling, integrations, and more.
  • Support the Machine Learning team with tooling and infrastructure. 

  • Minimum requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Software Engineer.
  • A good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, like data structures, data modeling, system design, and testing.
  • Proficiency in any programming language. Python is preferred.
  • A good understanding of relational data (SQL).
  • Experience with non-relational data (JSON, NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD lifecycle and git.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

  • Preferred requirements:

  • Prior experience as a web developer or background in any software development.
  • Experience with DWH solutions, Snowflake preferred.
  • Experience with message queues and stream processing technologies (Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS).
  • Experience Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and REST APIs.
