The Team

Printify’s product team owns a portfolio of products ranging from merchant and print provider facing to internal technical support. The Role

As a Payments Product Manager, you will be part of the Commerce Product Team. You will be responsible for driving product strategy and execution, setting ambitious goals, identifying customer and business needs as well as key opportunities for transaction cost reduction. You will become an expert in our payment orchestration
practices and sit at the intersection of business, technology, and data teams to drive the evolution of the Payment platform and tools supporting merchants’ business worldwide.

Your work will have a direct impact on keeping the Printify platform efficient and trustworthy for tens of thousands of merchants.

To be successful in this role, you need to enjoy navigating rapidly changing payment environments and be open to pick up new skills on the fly to stay ahead of emerging payment trends. You'll need a sharp analytical mind, keen attention to detail, strong product management skills, and a proactive, get-it-done approach.

Your responsibilities:

  • Defining the payment vision, presenting it to stakeholders, and implementing the vision through OKRs
  • Identify opportunities and adjust team priorities and backlog to maximize business impact in alignment with product vision and goals
  • Help define a mission and goals for this product area team, duly aligned with product & company vision
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in our payment solutions
  • Use data, customer insights, and industry’s best practices to identify and improve payments experience
  • Align and partner with product teams to influence roadmap decisions, and identify opportunities to leverage payment flows
  • Explore 3rd party payment solutions to achieve specific payment types,
  • Test and implement solution which will fit in with the payment strategy
  • Develop and implement comprehensive payment strategies and business rules that balance payment efficiency, cost of execution, and customer experience
  • Liaise with business and tech teams throughout the product life cycle, so as to involve all cross-functional teams (design, engineering, and analytics) and make them embrace the product vision and strategy
  • Monitor product performance and use customer feedback to build a product development strategy
  • Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as Product Manager in the payments industry
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and applying continuous improvement methodologies across your team
  • Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision
  • Excellent quantitative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and effectively to a wide range of audiences from engineers to executives
  • Well versed in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies and principles
  • Excellent written & spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into business and product requirements
  • Positive attitude, experience in working in cross-functional teams, keen attention to detail
  • Great team player qualities, high energy, and the ability to thrive in thrive in startup/scale up environments
