The Team

Finance team consists of 4 branches: accounting & reporting, strategic finance, finance operations and finance data. This role will be part of the finance operations team that is responsible for increasing billing alignment with suppliers and is driving important cost optimisation initiatives and processes around the company's direct costs.

The Role

As Finance Operations Specialist, you will partner with internal (product and operations) and external stakeholders (suppliers) and will be responsible for maintaining and managing various operational processes, including cancellation cost and overcharge recovery from Suppliers, large-scale order deal validation and Company’s price change process coordination. We are looking for a proactive individual with a drive for self-motivation, equipped with advanced analytical, administrative, and organizational skills. The preferred candidate is capable of managing large amounts of information and coordinating substantial information flow across multiple stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should provide valuable support in driving improvements, contribute to the optimization of process-related metrics and demonstrate a collaborative approach to enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and owning the Company's cancellation and overcharge recovery process.
  • Monitoring the accuracy of accounting records by reconciling the supplier invoices/credits with cancellation/overcharge reports.
  • Validating and approving large-scale order deals initiated by other internal teams to guarantee the maintenance of the targeted profitability.
  • Coordinating the price change process while actively engaging and mobilizing all internal stakeholders, driving the collection of essential information and inputs to ensure a seamless and informed execution of the process.
  • Regularly reporting the status and outcomes of the processes to stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication channels.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to introduce and enhance operational processes, communicating improvement areas clearly.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Previous professional experience in a finance-related role.
  • Proficiency and working experience with MS Excel.
  • Strong written & verbal English communication skills.
  • Quick learner with excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to consistently meet deadlines with precision.
  • Proven ability to work independently, delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability implementing and managing administrative processes across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with large data sets.
  • Finance/Accounting related higher education will be considered as advantage.

The remuneration for this role ranges from €1600 to €2100 gross per month, based on your qualifications, experience, and skills.
