About The Role
As the Product Group Manager for Apparel, you will be the commercial leader of the Apparel product category group, overseeing its strategic direction and driving growth across multiple sales channels and merchant segments.
You will lead a team of experienced Category Managers, empowering them and setting the direction to drive the category performance and expand on market opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for the Apparel group, ensuring a balanced approach between core portfolio management and strategic new selections to maximize sales, profitability, and market positioning.
Together with your team, you will ensure that our assortment features both bestselling products and innovative printing methods at competitive pricing, strengthening our market leadership.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, operations, and finance—to execute key strategic initiatives.
Your Daily Tasks will Entail:
Setting Apparel group strategic direction; developing and driving initiatives in alignment with company objectives
Follow, analyze, and report Apparel group results against KPIs and make data-driven decisions based on the analysis
Leading a team of product category managers and associates, fostering a collaborative and performance driven culture
Proactively, independently, and frequently identify revenue opportunities and drive them to execution without the need for explicit direction
Manage and refine the existing product catalog to ensure we maintain our market leadership; guarantee the competitiveness and quality of our products meet customer expectations
Lead the creation and execution of a new Apparel product roadmap; ensure alignment with e-commerce trends, merchant needs, and business objectives to maximize revenue
Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform stakeholders about new product and initiative roadmap
Collaborate with sourcing, onboarding, design,n and in-house development teams to bring new products to the catalogs
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, maximizing revenue potential across core and new product selections
Collaborate with product teams to improve new merchant onboarding journey, product discoverability in the catalog, and improve product creation experience
Your Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Category Management roles
2+ years of experience in team-leading roles (as a Category Manager Lead, Business Development Manager, or other related leading positions), preferably in apparel or fashion industry
Strong leadership skills, and a track record of developing and managing high-performance teams
Proven experience in managing large product catalogs and driving revenue growth through collaboration with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting complex data sets, extracting insights, and presenting clear, actionable recommendations to management
Proficiency in data and analytics tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable outcomes
Strong proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
