The Team
Printify's BI Squad sits in the middle of the company's core data infrastructure. Squad's main objective is to provide a scalable and compliant way for users to solve their needs around descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics in a self-service way.
The Role
We are looking for a responsible and hard-working BI Developer / Senior BI Developer to join our efforts in taking over the print-on-demand industry. You would work in an international environment with talented teammates in a casual atmosphere. You’ll have your hands on very rich and diverse data related to the print-on-demand universe.
In this role, you will contribute key deliverables to an exciting BI roadmap, while at the same time managing/enhancing an existing suite of BI applications. You will translate requirements into BI solutions using established standards and best practices as well as enforcing these across the business. Our goal is to enable self-service BI across all verticals at Printify.
Your responsibilities:
Perform impact analysis of new business requirements on existing BI landscapeWork closely with Data Engineers and Architects on the design of BI solutionsDocument data flows and mapping rules between source systems and BI SolutionsBuild and enforce data quality rules and standards within BI applicationsBuild pro-active tools and processes to monitor and flag data quality gaps and issues within BI applicationsHelp enforce and enhance BI standards used for ETL and data visualizationEvaluate new tools and product updates to help improve the effectiveness of existing BI solutionsHelp build models to enable self-service BIProvide end-user training on new/enhanced BI applicationsAdminister and maintain our BI production environments
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field required2+ years of experience with building and enhancing Looker applications as well as administrationFull software life cycle development exposure within BI spaceHands-on experience working with Snowflake or other RDBMSProven experience in transforming tactical workstreams into strategic solutionsExperience managing key business stakeholdersThe ability to convey concepts, issues, and risks to a technical audienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailHigh levels of energy, enthusiasm, and passion to succeed in a dynamic environment
