Communication with our merchants is key across the entire life cycle. It is a deciding factor that boosts customer experience and improves merchant engagement. The Product Marketing team handles Printify’s notification layer along with product and feature launches.
Furthermore, our team works towards creating effective marketing strategies and practices. Due to the nature of our role, we are cross-functionally involved with multiple Printify teams. Our goal is to ensure proper representation of the customer’s voice within the decision-making process.
As an Email Marketing Specialist, you'll be part of the Product Marketing team – sitting at the convergence of product, marketing, sales, and data, helping our merchants onboard, grow and succeed with their business.
Your role will involve creating, managing, and optimizing email and in-app communication campaigns driving customer engagement, as well as making sure our merchants are up-to-date about the recent developments at Printify.
Your responsibilities:Set up email and in-product communication campaigns, announcements, and flows in various customer lifecyclesA/B test and improve content (light copywriting included)Ensure design and layouts are optimized, user- and mobile-friendlyOptimize user segments based on the focus of the emailReport and draw actionable insights on the effectiveness of communication campaignsWork with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize email deliverability (including design, content, and product development teams)Build a roadmap for communication strategy aligning with key initiatives, launches, and updatesStay informed on email trends and share the best practices with the team
Minimum qualifications:Keen eye for detailStrong written and verbal communication skills, high level of EnglishExperience working with email marketing and delivery automation platforms (e.g., Customer.io, Mailchimp, Sendgrid)Understanding of best email practices (testing, dynamic content, communication flows, etc.) and user segmentation managementFeeling comfortable with numbers and data analysisInterest in understanding our user needs and learning more about the print-on-demand industry, marketing, and eCommerceStellar interpersonal skills: you get along with different personalities and like working within a cross-functional settingProactive mindset with a get-things-done attitude
Preferred qualifications:Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS / LiquidBasic copywriting skills and experience with short-form content productionUnderstanding of email deliverability aspects (IP and domain reputation management, content optimization, etc.)
