The team
We are looking for Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. We take care of the company’s legal matters including compliance, contracts, and transaction support. Our goal is to adequately manage the company’s risks and make sure they do not stand in a way of achieving our goals. As Legal Counsel, you will be working together with the management of the Company, print providers, and almost any team within the company.
The role
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s expansion and everyday compliance. Legal writing and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this position. Developing in this role will give you the opportunity to grow and move up within the company.
Your responsibilities
Participating in negotiations and drafting US-based contracts with service providersWork on developing internal templates and processesParticipate in developing Printify legal frameworkAssisting colleagues and management in everyday legal matters
Minimum Qualifications
University degree in law (Dipl. iur., Mag. iur., J.D., or similar. For candidates that have obtained their degree in Latvia – the degree must include a full professional qualification as a lawyer)Full command of Latvian and English, including professional proficiencyThree years of prior work experience in a law firm or a large international company
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of contract law (both common law and civil law systems)Strong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work as a generalistPrevious experience in different fields of lawAbility to adapt to shifting work environmentAbility to work among other highly motivated individuals
