We are looking for an experienced Research Operations Manager who can build the Operations unit within the existing Research team. We expect the Research Ops team to remove as much operational friction from the researchers as possible, disseminate their work across the company and help them continuously optimize their ways of working, in order to enable them to deliver their most impactful work.
The Research Operations Manager will report to the Head of Research. The Research Ops team will interact not only with researchers but also with business and product stakeholders. By design, they will wear many hats.

Your responsibilities:Design and build new research operational processes, while optimizing the existing ones, to support UX, Market, and Product research, that inform both tactical and strategic decisionsScale the recruitment and management of research participants: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and incentivizing of all types of participants (merchants, print providers, shoppers, etc.), while ensuring compliance with all legal and privacy requirementsEnsure that the Research team is equipped with, and uses efficiently the tools that fit best their needs: Research, implement and manage research tooling, including vendors, contracts, payments, access rights, and research budgetBuild a research insights repository that is scalable and easy to use for stakeholders from all functions, both as contributors and insight consumersSocialize research insights across the org: Collect key insights from the researchers, make them accessible and digestible for a wide audience, and socialize them across the company (e.g. through events)Drive the Research practice excellence: Facilitate knowledge sharing among the researchers, develop and set standards for their research, drive continuous learning across the team (e.g. develop and train best practices)As an advocate for the Research team, you will be responsible for educating stakeholders as to when and how to work with the researchers
Minimum qualification:At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, building and managing operational processes in a developed Research organizationThought leader and self-starter in the field of Research OperationsExpert knowledge of UX Research best practicesCommunications professional, with great energy levels, and on a mission to evangelize research across companiesExcellent presentation and influencing skillsVery well organized and detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred qualifications:Experience in hiring and managing peopleExperienced UX researcher who is interested in a role changeExperience working in fast-paced start-up environmentsTech-savvy and eager to learn new tools, and apply them to make yours and the Researchers’ work more efficient (e.g. Google suite, Airtable, Video editing tools, Survey and other research tools like UserTesting, Fullstory, Dovetail, etc.)
