The Team

As a Sales Manager, you will be a part of the Sales squad within the Sales & Merchant Success Team at Printify. You will work closely with other teams, such as Merchant Success, Marketing, and Product. There will be two sales teams of 3 to 4 Account Executives each, reporting to you, and you will be reporting to the Head of Sales. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager or a Sales Director, coming from a smaller company. 

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering the revenue and new customer goals by the teams you will work with. You will achieve that by consistently mentoring and coaching your team on the sales process execution, and by regularly participating in the sales calls and demos together with them. You will identify improvement areas within the sales process in the data, which you will collect during the process in the CRM.

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver on revenue and new customer goals.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team to improve their performance and skills. 
  • Participate in calls and meetings with selected customers together with the team. 
  • Be an expert in the Print on Demand market landscape and Printify's competitive positioning.
  • Be an expert on the Print on Demand model and its advantages.
  • Be an expert on Printify's advantages and disadvantages.  
  • Ensure that the required CRM data are always logged in, and the process is followed. 
  • Regularly and systematically review the sales data, and identify improvement areas and strengths. 
  • Regularly report the results and metrics within the required format to the Head of Sales and/or Senior Management.
  • Based on the sales performance and data identify the better converting customer segments, and guide respectively our marketing and lead generation efforts.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a proven track record in a Sales Manager or Sales Director role in the e-commerce or SaaS space. 
  • Thorough understanding of the sales process, goal setting, and sales compensation plans.
  • Thorough understanding of sales metrics, and the ability to apply them. 
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, prospecting, and sales engagement tools. 
  • Strong, proven people management skills.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • A data-driven mindset and an analytical skillset.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a strong desire for success.
  • Experience in a high-velocity, transactional sales environment.
  • Experience with selling to creators, solopreneurs, and SMBs in the e-commerce space.
