At Printify our Product teams consist of 3 major entities - supply, demand, and platform - behind which there can be several more product squads. At supply, we are responsible for any functionality that facilitates order fulfillment business process and print provider network expansion from all around the world. From a technical standpoint, we work with multiple APIs (internal and external) and different types of user-facing tools that help us and our partners facilitate operational work and the onboarding process.

We are looking for a passionate software development engineer in test (SDET) to join our startup for building a strong automation setup. As an SDET, you will be challenged with the creation of tools, processes, and infrastructure necessary to establish high-quality API testing, provide automated security checks, help establish and master visual regression testing, and provide solutions to check system health under various loads.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop efficient test strategies to verify web and server applications
  • Improve the coverage and reliability of our automated test suites and their setups
  • Create reliable automated test cases
  • Contribute to test automation framework for both API and UI driven tests
  • Ensure high quality through daily production deployments of effective test automation and exploratory testing
  • Take part in regular creative brainstorming sessions to improve product quality

  • We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science
  • Working experience in an SDET role and at least 1-2 years of experience in automation with Javascript/Typescript
  • Strong coding experience: automated testing frameworks, tools, and services
  • Working experience with Docker and shell scripting
  • Strong problem-solving skills: adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership
  • Experience with OpenAPI, REST integrations, and system testing

  • It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience testing Angular applications and microservices
  • Worked with Cypress, PHPUnit, PHP, Python, MySQL, MongoDB, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3
  • Experience with performance and visual regression testing
  • Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures
