Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of U.S. and international commercial contracts, including supply, shipping, lease, marketing, and other operational agreements
Conducting legal research to support contract negotiations and business decisions
Collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Operations, Platform, and Marketing to gather input and align contracts with business needs
Maintaining the company’s contract and document management systems
Working on intellectual property (IP) matters, including trademark filings, IP prosecution, enforcement, and maintaining the company’s IP portfolio
Providing legal advice on international matters, helping assess and manage legal risks across multiple jurisdictions
Supporting other teams to establish, review, and manage various internal processes that need legal support, which will require project management and clear communication skills
Below is a list of requirements, but what matters most is that you’re ready to master your knowledge and actively provide legal support to other teams.
At least 3 years of legal experience, ideally a combination of in-house and law firm roles. Experience with the U.S. market or in an international business environment will be an advantage
A university degree in law (Mag. iur.) is required; an LL.M. from a U.S. university is a strong advantage. Participation in moot court competitions, receipt of scholarships, or other academic distinctions will be an advantage
Solid understanding of contract law, previous work experience with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts will be an advantage
Experience or familiarity with intellectual property law (especially trademarks) and/or dispute resolution is a plus
Efficient communication and negotiation skills, as well as fluency in the English language (written and spoken)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Interest in or experience with legal technology tools; curiosity about the print-on-demand and e-commerce industries
Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
Monthly salary of EUR 2900- 3400 gross, depending on work experience, education, and skills
